To help Gemnote fulfill and ship your order on time, you may need to provide the recipient and shipping information before fulfillment begins.
For projects shipping to multiple recipients, Gemnote will provide a recipient template. This template must be completed accurately and submitted by the required deadline, typically at least two weeks before the scheduled fulfillment date.
How to complete the recipient template
- Download the template
Open the provided CSV template in Excel, Google Sheets, or another spreadsheet tool. - Fill out all required fields
Complete all required recipient, address, item, and size fields. - Check apparel sizes carefully
If your order includes sized apparel, the sizes in the recipient template must match the sizes in your order. - Review addresses for accuracy
Make sure addresses are complete and include any needed apartment numbers, ZIP or postal codes, state codes, and country codes. - Save the file as a CSV
The completed file should be saved and submitted in CSV format. - Submit by the deadline
Send the completed template to Gemnote at least two weeks before the scheduled fulfillment date, unless your Gemnote team provides a different deadline.
Important formatting notes
To avoid delays, please follow the instructions provided with the template.
Common requirements may include:
- Do not leave required fields blank
- avoid extra spaces or unsupported special characters
- Use the correct format for phone numbers, email addresses, state codes, and country codes
- Make sure item selections and sizes match the available order options
- Submit the file in CSV format
For international shipments, additional information may be required, such as recipient phone numbers, email addresses, tax IDs, importer details, or customs documentation.
What happens if information is missing or incorrect?
If the template is incomplete, inaccurate, submitted late, or requires revisions, fulfillment may be delayed.
In some cases, your order may need to be moved to the next available fulfillment date.
Gemnote is not responsible for fulfillment or delivery delays caused by missing, late, or incorrect recipient information.
What if apparel sizes do not match the order?
Clients are responsible for making sure the apparel sizes in the recipient template match the sizes included in the order.
If additional sizes or quantities are needed, this may require a new order and may add additional lead time.
