Finalizing Redemption Pages:
When an admin chooses to finalize a redemption page, all orders associated with that page are immediately submitted to the fulfillment team for processing, and the page is effectively closed. This means that no further redemptions can occur once the page is finalized, as it becomes permanently locked.
It is important to note that once a page has been finalized, it cannot be reopened for further redemptions or changes, making it a critical final step in the order management process. Careful review is recommended before finalizing, as this action is irreversible and signifies the official closure of the redemption page or campaign.
Toggling Auto-Finalize On:
When Auto-Finalize is enabled, the process of order creation becomes instantaneous. As soon as a recipient submits their information, the order is immediately generated and sent directly to our fulfillment team for processing. This ensures a seamless and rapid transition from submission to fulfillment without any manual intervention. However, there is a trade-off: once the order is submitted, no changes—such as modifications to the shipping address, product size, or other customizable details—can be made.
Toggling Auto-Finalize Off:
Disabling Auto-Finalize introduces a more controlled workflow. While orders are still visible in the system upon submission, they are not automatically forwarded to the fulfillment team. This gives administrators the opportunity to review each submission for accuracy, ensuring all details are correct before proceeding. Additionally, this option allows for batch processing, where multiple orders can be grouped together and submitted for fulfillment at a later time, which might be useful in cases where orders need to be coordinated or adjusted before sending. Orders will remain in a pending state within the system until the admin manually toggles " Auto-Finalize," granting full control over the timing and accuracy of order processing.
