How does Gemnote ship swag for a custom merchandise project?
Gemnote offers several shipping options for custom merchandise projects, including one-off projects where you distribute branded swag to employees, clients, partners, or event attendees.
Direct shipping
Direct shipping means your swag is shipped in bulk to one location, such as:
- Office or headquarters
- Event or conference venue
- Warehouse
Drop shipping
Drop shipping means Gemnote ships swag individually to multiple recipient addresses as part of the same custom merchandise project.
This can be useful for employee gifts, new hire kits, client gifts, or remote team distributions.
Note: Gemnote uses "drop shipping" to describe a shipping and fulfillment method. It does not refer to the traditional dropshipping business model where a business sells products through its own store and a third-party supplier fulfills customer orders.
Split shipping
Split shipping means swag from the same project is shipped to multiple locations. This can include a combination of bulk shipments and individual shipments.
The best option depends on how many items you have, how many recipients there are, and where the swag needs to be delivered.
These shipping options apply to custom merchandise projects and are separate from the ordering and fulfillment processes for Marketplace and Swag Store orders.
If you're not sure which shipping option is right for your project, just ask here and tell us how you plan to distribute your swag.
