Gift cards on the e-commerce platform work like a prepaid balance that can be used at checkout.
Receiving a gift card
After a gift card is purchased, the recipient receives an email with a unique gift card code.
Using a gift card
To use a gift card:
- Go to checkout.
- Enter the gift card code from the email.
- Apply the code to the order.
The gift card balance will be applied to the order total.
If the order total is more than the gift card balance, the recipient can pay the remaining amount with another payment method.
If the order total is less than the gift card balance, the remaining balance can be used for a future purchase.
Managing gift cards
Admins may be able to view gift card balances and usage through the e-commerce platform.
