To help prevent fulfillment delays, address corrections, returned packages, or customs issues, recipient information must be submitted accurately using Gemnote’s recipient template.
This template helps Gemnote process drop shipments, bulk shipments, and recipient-based shipments with the correct names, addresses, contact details, item selections, and sizes.
When to submit the recipient template
Please submit the completed recipient template by the deadline provided for your project.
For many projects, recipient information should be submitted at least two weeks before the scheduled fulfillment date, unless otherwise confirmed by your Gemnote team.
Late, incomplete, or incorrectly formatted recipient information may delay fulfillment or move the shipment to the next available fulfillment date.
How to complete the recipient template
When filling out the template:
- Use accurate recipient names and complete shipping addresses
- Include apartment, suite, floor, or unit numbers when applicable
- Include phone number and email address for international and non-US addresses
- Use 2-letter state and country codes when required
- Make sure item selections, sizes, and quantities match the available options
- Use abbreviated sizes when needed, such as XL, 2XL, or 3XL
- Do not use special characters, wrapped text, or extra formatting
- Do not exceed the maximum number of characters allowed for each cell
- Save and submit the file in the required format
Common issues to avoid
Please review the template carefully before submitting it. Common issues that may cause delays include:
- Missing apartment, suite, or postal code details
- Incorrect or incomplete addresses
- Missing phone numbers or emails for international recipients
- Invalid state or country codes
- Size selections that do not match available inventory
- Special characters or wrapped text in the file
- Submitting the file in the wrong format
What happens if the template is incomplete or late?
If the recipient template is incomplete, incorrectly formatted, or submitted after the deadline, fulfillment may be delayed or rescheduled.
Address corrections, returned packages, reshipments, or delays caused by invalid, incomplete, or incorrectly formatted recipient information may result in additional fees. These fees may be billed to the client as incurred.
